4 Ways you can (and should) get involved with Movember!

The Movember Foundation is the leading global organisation committed to changing the face of men’s health. The Movember community has raised £346 million to date and is saving and improving the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems. They achieve this by challenging men to grow moustaches during Movember (the month formerly known as November) to raise funds and spark conversation for men’s health.

4. Get involved on campus – Nothing brings everyone on campus together like Movember. The level of education doesn’t matter when it comes to having fun while raising funds and awareness for men’s health. Encourage your Teachers and Peers to Grow a Mo this November!

3. Get involved in the Community – The level and type of support varies greatly from group to group but the combined Mo growing and fundraising efforts play a vital role in raising much needed awareness for men’s health. You can help raise money by encouraging members of your community to donate or perhaps do a cupcake Sale!

2. Become a Mo Sista – Women play a key supporting role by helping to raise funds and awareness about men’s health by encouraging the men in their life to take action when it comes to their health!


1. Become a Mo Bro – First sign up online at Starting on November 1st with a clean-shave, Mo Bros donate their top lip for the 30 days of November by growing a new moustache. Movember is more than just an excuse to grow a fine piece of moustachery; it’s about raising funds and starting conversations about men’s health!

So even if it doesn’t grow to your expectations, it’s still great to get involved!
