My six fave lip colours: A MUST try for Autumn!

My six fave lip colours: A MUST try for Autumn!

I thought I would share with you guys five lip colours that I find myself reaching for the most at the moment and colours that I’m absolutely loving. These all range in darker colouring (which is great for the on coming autumn season) but some nudes can be worn at any time. There are some pricier ones but there are also cheaper alternatives which I’ve really been grabbing at in my makeup collection…

All of these lipsticks apply lovely, are pretty much long-lasting (asides from the nude gloss stick which is much glossier, therefore doesn’t have so much staying power) and finish off my makeup look nicely without breaking too much into the bank.

Mac ‘Spirt’ Satin lipstick:

in a muted pinky-beige brown shade looks gorgeous with a simple winged liner and a lovely golden champagne glitter eye shadow from Revolution.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams:

I love NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream’ in colour SMLC32 ‘Rome’ with a smoky eye or again with winged liner, as I think the dark red tone of the lipstick really brings the makeup look together.

Barry M number 156 – Vicious Violet:

is a pink that can be noticed, it instantly makes a natural makeup look brighten and makes me feel pretty.

Soap and Glory – Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss stick:

in the shade ‘Nudist’ is a beautiful shade, I like to blend this into my lips when I feel my lips are going dry – they just add to a nice finish and shine.

Mac Diva matte lipstick:

is just such an on-trend colour right now – a breath-taking Marilyn Monroe red but its more of a darker shade so it fits beautifully. I feel like this colour looks gorgeous with a simple mascara and a simple eye shadow.

To go with this, I’ve also been really loving the ‘Mac Retro Matte Liquid’ lip colour in the shade ‘Dance with me’ – this is my favourite!!!

Please let me know in the comments what your favourite drugstore or higher brand lipsticks are so that I can try out some also!

Love, C x
